— and carrying something heavier inside.
LVLUP Counseling was born of a desire to help individuals “level up” their lives by tapping into their innate wisdom, strength and power. To get more out of life and reach for higher ground.
Here, therapy is not only about healing and recovery; it’s about overcoming the obstacles and transforming the negative beliefs that are holding you back.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I am passionate about empowering individuals to heal from trauma, overcome anxiety and self-doubt, and achieve balance in their inner lives.
Fully trained in EMDR and IFS-informed, I’m here to help you create the life you deserve. Wherever you’re starting, wherever you’re heading, I can help you reach the next level.
Who I Help
I can help you find higher ground. LVLUP is for anyone who feels stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or simply stagnant and wanting more out of life.
You have unresolved experiences that still shape how you react, decide, and relate — long after you thought you’d moved on.
You feel exhausted by chronic stress, thought spirals, and burnout from holding yourself to an impossible standard.
You’ve developed codependent patterns, weak boundaries, and a quiet conviction that you’re the one who has to absorb everyone else’s needs.
I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns of perfectionism, codependence, poor self-confidence, anxiety, and unresolved trauma.
With a background in sports, comedy, and creative writing, I love working with athletes and performers to elevate their craft and break through mental barriers.
EMDR trained and IFS-informed, I can help you build skills for calm and confidence, identify and transform negative self-beliefs, and restore balance to your inner world.
Rates & Insurance
At LVLUP Counseling, I believe cost shouldn’t be a mystery. Here’s what to expect when you begin working together.
Our first meeting is a chance for me to learn about you, your goals, and what’s been getting in the way. Together, we’ll map out a plan for moving forward.
$200Ongoing sessions are focused, collaborative, and built around the changes you want to make.
$175I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. If you have this coverage, your costs will depend on your plan’s benefits, such as your copay, deductible, or coinsurance. Because every plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance provider before our first session to confirm:
If I’m not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to receive reimbursement. I can provide a superbill, a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to check your out-of-network benefits directly with your provider.
I want quality counseling to be within reach. Reduced-fee options are available based on individual financial need. If cost is a concern, please reach out and we can talk through what might work. There’s no pressure and no judgment.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or whether we might be a good fit, I’d be glad to help. Contact me to take the first step.
FAQ
Sessions usually begin with brief check-ins about the week, followed by identifying what you’d like to focus on and how we can approach it in a way that aligns with your goals. Early work may include skill-building before moving into deeper trauma- or insight-oriented work.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy that helps your brain process experiences that still feel stuck, whether that’s a single painful event or a pattern built over many years. During sessions, you briefly focus on a difficult memory or feeling while following a form of bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or alternating taps. This seems to help the brain reprocess the memory so it feels less charged and more like something that happened in the past.
You don’t need to go into great detail about what happened for EMDR to work, and you stay in control throughout. Many people find it helpful for trauma, anxiety, and the lingering effects of difficult life experiences. Before any reprocessing begins, we spend time building coping skills and making sure you feel steady and prepared.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a way of understanding the mind as made up of different parts, each with its own feelings, perspectives, and role. You might notice a part of you that pushes for perfection, a part that criticizes, and a part that just wants to shut down and rest. IFS holds that all of these parts have positive intentions to protect you, even if their strategies now cause strain.
In IFS-informed therapy, we get curious about these parts rather than trying to silence or fight them. As you come to understand what each part is protecting and what it needs, internal conflict tends to ease, and you can lead your life from a calmer, more grounded place. It’s a compassionate approach that can be especially helpful if you struggle with self-criticism, perfectionism, or feeling pulled in different directions.
I offer both in-person and online (telehealth) appointments.
The short answer: it depends! The timeline is shaped by the complexity of what you’re facing and your goals, how much skill-building we need to do first, and how ready you are for deeper, insight-oriented work. Many people notice some relief within the first several sessions, while lasting change unfolds over a longer period. We’ll check in regularly on your progress so you always know where you stand and can shape the pace of our work together.
I recommend meeting weekly for the first month or two. Consistent sessions help us build momentum and trust early on, and they give you regular support as you practice new skills and process new information between visits. Once you feel ready, we can space sessions out based on your goals and how the work is going.
